With 2,000 extra wide free parking spaces at ATRIO Villach, you are guaranteed to find a suitable one for you! You can charge electric cars during your stay in the shopping center at our e-charging station on the parking deck. There is a height restriction of 2m on the parking deck and in the underground car park. There is also plenty of covered bicycle parking. In addition, the shopping center is easily accessible by public transport – you will find a stop in the immediate vicinity of the main entrance.
ATRIO works with a special energy management system in which energy consumption is continuously analyzed and measures are implemented to save energy and increase energy efficiency.
652 bored piles are used as energy piles for heating and cooling. The ATRIO has won many international awards. Among other things, due to the planning and construction designed for sustainability as well as the energy and emission-saving use of resources. 652 energy poles enable savings of approx. 500 tons of COâ‚‚ per year.
Geothermal energy is used efficiently and in an environmentally friendly manner all year round: in winter, geothermal energy is used for heating using a heat pump, and in summer for building cooling using chillers. The energy piles result in a number of advantages, such as the reduction in operating costs, independence from fossil fuels and high cost-effectiveness.
